Opening Prayer: Almighty God, pour our Your Holy Spirit in my life, that I may experience the greatness of Your love and forgiveness in my life. Help me to grow to be more like Your Son, in whose name I pray. Amen.

Read: Mark 14:66-72; John 21:4-19
Reflect:
Why do you think the Bible records Peter’s denials of knowing Jesus? Why do you think John includes the story at the beach, which none of the other gospels record? Do we need to see Jesus forgive in order to understand that Peter could be forgiven by Jesus? How does Peter’s story typify human interaction with Jesus?

Prayer: for the church, for others, for myself.

Hymn: “Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehovah”
Guide me, O Thou great Jehovah,
Pilgrim through this barren land.
I am weak, but Thou art mighty;
Hold me with Thy powerful hand.
Bread of Heaven, Bread of Heaven,
Feed me till I want no more.
Feed me till I want no more.

Open now the crystal fountain
Whence the healing stream doth flow.
Let the fire and cloudy pillar
Lead me all my journey through.
Strong Deliverer, strong Deliverer,
Be Thou still my Strength and Shield.
Be Thou still my Strength and Shield.

When I treat the verge of Jordan,
Bid my anxious fears subside.
Death of death, and hell’s destruction,
Land me safe on Canaan’s side.
Songs of praises, songs of praises
I will ever give to Thee.
I will ever give to Thee.

Closing Prayer: May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. (2 Cor. 13:14)
