Reflect: Why were the other disciples so angry that the mother of these other two disciples came and asked for preferential treatment? What cup is Jesus referring to when he talks about his cup? Would it be possible to make serving one another just a tool we use to become great in the Kingdom of Heaven? How could we become servants without doing it to gain something for ourselves?

Prayer: for the church, for others, for myself.
