Opening Prayer: Almighty God, You have given me peace and purpose. May I live purposely in peace with all who I encounter, and may Your peace flow from me to those around me today. Amen.

Read: Psalm 104

Reflect: Which of the acts of God or the works of God’s hands do you find yourself praising Him for most often? Which of the reasons to praise the Lord listed by the Psalmist do you not think of to praise the Lord very often? What would you add to the Psalmist’s list?

Prayer: for the church, for others, for myself.

Hymn: “Fill Thou My Life, O Lord, My God
Fill Thou my life, O Lord my God,
In every part with praise;
That my whole being may proclaim
Thy being and Thy ways.

Not for the lip of praise alone,
Nor for the praising heart;
I ask Thee for a life made up
Of praise in every part.

Praise in the common things of life,
Its goings out and in;
Praise in each duty and each deed,
However small and mean.

So shalt Thou, Lord from even me
Receive the glory due;
And so shall I begin on earth
The song forever new.

So shall no part of day or night
From sacredness be free;
But all my life, in every step,
Be fellowship with Thee.

Closing Prayer: May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever.
