Opening Prayer: Almighty God, You have been with me on every step of my journey. Please help me to surrender every part of my life to you, so there is nowhere in my life that you are not. Amen.

Read: Psalm 138

Reflect: Who does Jesus know intimately, and who does the Lord work to preserve? What kind of relationship does the psalmist have with the Lord? How do you think the Lord’s purpose will be fulfilled in the psalmist? Are there ways that the Lord purpose is not being fulfilled in his life that we know of from the psalm?

Prayer: for the church, for others, for myself.

Hymn: “Cleanse Me”
Search me, O God, and know my heart today.
Try me, O Savior; know my thoughts, I pray.
See if there be some wicked way in me;
Cleanse me from every sin, and set me free.

I praise Thee, Lord, for cleansing me from sin.
Fulfill Thy Word, and make me pure within.
Fill me with fire, where once I burned with shame.
Grant my desire to magnify Thy name.

Lord, take my life and make it wholly Thine;
Fill my poor heart with Thy great love divine.
Take all my will, my passion, self, and pride.
I now surrender; Lord, in me abide.

O Holy Ghost, revival comes from Thee.
Send a revival – start the work in me.
Thy Word declares Thou wilt supply our need.
For blessing now, O Lord, I humbly plead.

Closing Prayer: “Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!…For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen” (Romans 11:33, 36 NIV)
