Opening Prayer: Almighty God, you have given me Your grace to help me grow and become the best Christian I can be. Help me to continue to grow deeper in your grace this week. Amen.

Read: Colossians 3:1-17
Reflect: What does it mean to be hid with Christ in God? Is it necessary to have a list of things to put to death and a list of things to put on? How do the lists inform one another? How does grace work through lists of do’s and don’ts?

Prayer: for the church, for others, for myself.

Hymn: “Amazing Grace”
Amazing Grace! how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
Was blind, but now I see.

‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved.
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!

The Lord has promised good to me;
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures.

Thro’ many dangers, toils, and snares
I have already come.
‘Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.

When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
Bright, shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we’d first begun.

Closing Prayer: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 1:7
