Opening Prayer: Almighty God, Speak to me as I learn about Your grace shown to my entire world.
Read: Acts 4:32-34; 11:19-24
Reflect: What did it look like in the early church when “much grace was upon them all”? What do you think the evidence of the grace of God looked like in Antioch? How should the church today demonstrate the grace of God at work among us?
Prayer: for the church, for others, for myself.
Hymn: “Amazing Grace”
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
Was blind, but now I see.
‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved.
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!
The Lord has promised good to me;
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures.
Thro’ many dangers, toils, and snares
I have already come.
‘Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.
When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
Bright, shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we’d first begun.
Closing Prayer: “Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 1:7
