Opening Prayer: Almighty God, thank you for making it possible for me to find the truth of the kingdom. Grant that as I spend time in your Word today, I will become more in tune with your kingdom. Amen.

Read: Hosea 3
Reflect: Why does God send Hosea back after Gomer? What does this pattern teach us about God? Does reconciliation happen in this passage, or do Hosea and Gomer just live in the same house? Does God’s grace seem right in this story?

Prayer: for the church, for others, and for myself

Hymn: “Savior, like a Shepherd Lead Us”
Savior, like a shepherd lead us;
Much we need Thy tender care.
In Thy pleasant pastures feed us;
For our use Thy folds prepare.
Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus!
Thou hast bought us; Thine we are.

We are Thine; do Thou befriend us;
Be the Guardian of our way.
Keep Thy flock; from sin defend us;
Seek us when we go astray.
Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus!
Hear, O hear us when we pray.

Thou hast promised to receive us,;
Poor and sinful though we be;
Thou has mercy to relieve us,
Grace to cleanse, and power to free.
Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus!
Early let us turn to Thee.

Early let us seek Thy favor;
Early let us do Thy will.
Blessed Lord and only Savior,
With Thy love our beings fill.
Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus!
Thou hast loved us; love us still.

Closing Prayer: To the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen ~Jude 25
