Opening Prayer: My Heavenly Father, thank you for the opportunity to do Your will in the world around me, and to walk with You every day. Amen.

Reflect: How does James describe mercy in this passage? What are the conditions placed on people to experience God’s mercy? How do we show favoritism like James talks about? How should we be showing mercy?

All braise to our redeeming Lord,
Who joins us by His grace
And bids us, each to each restore,
Together seek His face.

He bids us build each other up;
And, gathered into one,
To our high calling’s glorious hope
We hand in hand go on.

The gift which He on one bestows,
We all delight to prove;
The grace through every vessel flows
In purest streams of love.

We all partake the joy of one;
The common peace we feel-
A peace to sensual minds unknown,

And if our fellowship below
In Jesus be so sweet,

Closing Prayer: Our Father, who art in heaven, hollowed be Thy name.  Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.  Lead us not into temptation, but delver us from evil.  For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
