Opening Prayer: Almighty God, You have made it possible for me to be Your child, please help me to take my place as a stake holder in Your Kingdom, so that I may work toward Your ends, not my own. Amen.

Read: Galatians 2:15-21
Reflect: What do you think it means to be crucified with Christ? Why does Paul make the distinction between living under the Law, and being crucified with Christ? What can you do to live like Paul, crucified with Christ, and not under a law?

Prayer: for the church, for others, and for myself

Hymn: “This Is My Father’s World”
This is my Father’s world,
And to my listening ears
All nature sings, and round me rings
The music of the spheres.
This is my Father’s world.
I rest me in the thought
Of rocks and trees, of skies and seas-
His hand the wonders wrought.

This is my Father’s world.
The birds their carols raise.
The morning light, the lily white
Declare their Maker’s praise.
This is my Father’s world.
He shines in all that’s fair.
In the rustling grass I hear Him pass;
He speaks to me everywhere.

This is my Father’s world.
O let me never forget
That through the wrong seems oft’ so strong,
God is the Ruler yet.
This is my Father’s world.
The battle is not done;
Jesus, who died, shall be satisfied,
And earth and heaven be one.

Closing Prayer: Now may you continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, feeding on His Word, breathing in His Spirit, walking in His light, resting on His promises.
