Pastor Paul and Alyssa at the 2008 Sunrise Service

Hi, I’m Paul Clark, I am the pastor of Connell Church of the Nazarene.  My wife, Alyssa, and I have been here since February 2008.  We moved to Connell from Wilmore, Kentucky, where I was a student at Asbury Theological Seminary.  I hope to be a mission minded pastor, I am encouraging our congregation to reach out into our community in ways that let people know that we care for them.

We would love to have you join us for Sunday morning worship at 10:45, Sunday School at 9:30 or at one of our small groups through the week.  When you join us, come expecting to have a real encounter with the living God.  Worshiping God is not safe or predictable, but it’s worth your time.

Thanks for all you have done and are doing for us as your church body and friends in Christ. I appreciate you both very much.

As I was driving home tonight Matthew West came on and I felt a strong yearning to be a part of the song “The Motions”. I felt as if our church is just going through the motions and that this song hists us exactly. I feel that we as a body of Christ need to put this song into action. We need to read adn do Psalm 51 daily.

Here is the video/song for you to see/listen to: Enjoy!

on the topic of angels, i quickly looked through my bible study online and what I find is that angels are niether male or female but one in spirit. no where in the bible does it refer to an angel as he or she. that is why there is no marrage in heaven because we are as one with the spirit. we are not recognize as male or female but as a spitiual being.
that is what i seem to understand in all i see so far
im still checking online commentaries for more information
