We are a community of people of diverse ages, backgrounds, and occupations, who are seeking to grow as Christians and reach the lost.  We adhere to the doctrine of the Church of the Nazarene, you can find out more about that here.

As a local church our Core Values are:
Discipleship: Growing more like Christ (Philippians 3:10-11)
Mission: Doing what it takes to reach the lost (Matthew 28:19-20)
Worship: Expressing love for God (Colossians 3:16-17)
Community: Doing life together as the body of Christ (John 15:12)

Our Vision for the future of our congregation is to be:
Growing in Christ together, impacting the world

Our Purpose is to accomplish our vision with three key practices:
1) Excellence in Sunday Morning Worship
2) Involving every member in a life-changing small group
3) Reaching out to our community in tangible ways

Opening Prayer: Almighty God, send your Holy Spirit upon us so that we may perfectly love you and faithfully follow you today and always. In the name of the spirit of Christ. Amen.

Read: Psalm 107

Read: Romans 8:1-17

Prayer: for the church, for others, for myself.

Hymn: “Spirit of God, Descend upon My Heart”
Spirit of God, descend upon my heart;
Wean it from earth;
Though all its pulses move;
Stoop to my weakness,
Mighty as thou art,
And make me love thee as I ought to love.

I ask no dream, no prophet ecstasies,
No sudden rending of the veil of clay,
No angel visitant, no opening skies;
But take the dimness of my soul away.

Hast thou not bid me love thee, God and King?
All, all thine own, soul, heart and strength and mind.
I see thy cross;
There teach my heart to cling:
O let me seek thee, and O let me find!

Teach me to feel that thou art always nigh;
Teach me the struggles of the soul to bear,
To check the rising doubt, the rebel sigh;
Teach me the patience of unanswered prayer.

Teach me to love thee as thine angels love,
One holy passion filling all my frame
The kindling of the heaven-descended Dove,
My heart an altar, and thy love the flame. Amen

Closing Prayer: Be filled with hope, joy, and peace by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
