Opening Prayer: Almighty God, come and move in my heart today, so that I may serve You with all that I am. Amen.

Read: Luke 10:29-37
Reflect: What impresses you about the service of the Samarian? Are there people around you that are difficult to serve? What can you do to reach out to those who would not like to accept your service?

Prayer: for the church, for others, and for myself

Hymn: “Cleanse Me”
Search me, O God, and know my heart today.
Try me, O Savior; know my thoughts I pray.
See if there be some wicked way in me;
Cleanse me from every sin, and set me free.

I praise Thee Lord, for cleansing me from sin.
Fulfill They word, and make me pure within.
Fill me with fire, where once I burned with shame.
Grant me desire to magnify Thy name.

Lord, take my life and make it wholly Thine;
Fill my poor heart with thy great love divine.
Take all my will, my passion, self, and pride.
I now surrender; Lord, in me abide.

O Holy Ghost, revival comes from Thee.
Send a revival- start the work in me.
Thy Word declares Thou wilt supply our need.
For blessing now, O Lord, I humbly plead.

Closing Prayer: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior. Amen. (Titus 1:4)

Opening Prayer: Almighty God, come and move in my heart today, so that I may serve You with all that I am. Amen.

Read: Psalm 65
Reflect: Happy Thanksgiving. Read this Psalm and reflect on God’s goodness to you in the past. Dream about how God wants to bless you in the coming year.

Prayer: for the church, for others, and for myself

Hymn: “Cleanse Me”
Search me, O God, and know my heart today.
Try me, O Savior; know my thoughts I pray.

Opening Prayer: Almighty God, come and move in my heart today, so that I may serve You with all that I am. Amen.

Read: 2 Corinthians 9:10-15
Reflect: I will be preaching on this passage tonight at the community Thanksgiving service. Paul is encouraging the Corinthians to give money to support Christians in Jerusalem in this passage. How does Paul remind them of God’s grace and provision? What has your experience been of God’s provision? Does God’s provision in the past give you hope for the future?

Prayer: for the church, for others, and for myself

Opening Prayer: Almighty God, come and move in my heart today, so that I may serve You with all that I am. Amen.

Read: 1 Corinthians 9:19-27
Reflect: What is Paul’s commitment to service to others? What do you think he means when he says he has become slave to all people? How does Paul’s commitment shape your thought of service to others? Is service only a good evangelism tool, or could it be a larger part of the Christian life?

Prayer: for the church, for others, and for myself

Opening Prayer: Almighty God, come and move in my heart today, so that I may serve You with all that I am. Amen.

Read: Galatians 2:17-21
Reflect: How does Paul demonstrate submission to God in this passage? What does it look like for Christians to be crucified with Christ? How does Christ living in us affect how we live on a day to day basis?
